Rosebowl 2018/19 Round 1 Results

The CACC Rosebowl Competition is the main competition on the CACC calendar, which we enter annually. This year’s competition started over a month ago however our first round fixture wasn’t until last week. In this fixture, we were up against Croxley CC, Ealing & Hampshire House P.C. and Oxford P.S., therefore stiff competition!  So how did we get on?  Well actually, we did really well in achieving second place, however, we were pipped at the post by Oxford P.S., by only one point. Secondly, congratulations must go to Pauline Goldsworthy for achieving a perfect score of 20 with her entry titled ‘Gotcha’. In conclusion, this is a really promising start, let’s hope we can carry this on! All our scores are detailed below:

The Competition

This is a multi-event competition that takes place throughout the year where 32 clubs of the Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs (CACC) compete against each other for the coveted prize of the CACC ‘Rose Bowl’. Entry is at Club Level and our entries are selected from a pool of club images chosen by the Selection Committee. This is a Projected Digital Image (PDI) knockout competition with an ‘Open’ subject.
