SUMMARY:Trevor Maggs Trophy 2023
DESCRIPTION:The ‘Trevor Maggs Trophy‘ is an annual competition held in honour of one of our members\, Trevor Maggs\, who sadly lost his fight with Covid-19 a couple of year’s ago. Trevor was very fond of using his mobile phone to capture numerous images.  Some were of a humorous nature and others just recorded interesting subjects that warranted further discussion on club nights. \nThis competition will be strictly for images taken on a mobile phone or tablet device. Images need to have been taken within the year since the TMT was last run. \nThe subject is ‘OPEN’ and a maximum of 3 Entries per current paid-up member are allowed. Humour is not essential but is encouraged. Images must not have been entered into any previous BCC competition\, but will subsequently be eligible for any future competitions e.g. POTY. \nThe rules for the TMT follow the CACC phone competition\, so editing is permitted and the image should be re-sized and named in the conventional way: Title by Author e.g.: “A Summer Evening by Tony Chivers” The images should then be submitted via the club website\, using the Internal Competition Entry page. \nThe judge will be tasked with commenting on the images submitted for this competition and will award a 1st place to the best overall image on the night. The author of this image will receive the Trevor Maggs Trophy which will be engraved with his/her name. The holder will keep the cup for 1 year. We encourage all members to take part in the competition in honour of our friend and fellow club member Trevor. \nClosing date for entries will be midnight 23rd July. \nThis year\, the images in this competition will be internally judged.

This entry can then be re-entered in a future POTY round. \nThe POTY Trophy will be awarded to the member with the highest combined marks over the 6 rounds.
