Brian Hubbard

Brian has been taking photographs since his teens, fascinated to see film-based images appear in the trays of chemicals (remember those?). Photography had always been an adjunct to other hobbies and interests until retirement when Brian began taking more ‘intentional’ pictures. Favourite genres are mainly people-based, especially portrait and street, plus travel and architecture.

Brian finished Buckingham Camera Club’s 2025 Photographer of the Year competition in joint 4th place. He also finished the 2025 Print competition in joint 3rd place. Here are six of Brian’s high scoring images from either 2025’s POTY, or the Print competition.
