About Our Club

Who are we?

Do you love photography? At Buckingham Camera Club we are a supportive and friendly group, with a common interest in photography. Our members range from young enthusiastic beginners to people who can share their knowledge to encourage and develop your skills. We have a wide range of activities throughout the year which centre around improving our skills and sharing our photographs in monthly competitions. So, this all results in a fun, sociable time enjoying photography.

What do we do?

You can find out more about what activities we do in the ‘What we get up to’ section below. We have a varied programme throughout the year, with the aim to keep everyone interested, involved and learning in a friendly and sociable atmosphere. We meet most Wednesdays in Padbury Village Hall at 8pm.

How to join our Club?

If you are thinking of joining us at Buckingham Camera Club, you are welcome to come along to one or two of our meetings free of charge.  Then if you like what you see, you can become a member using the Membership Form. If you want to confirm that a meeting is taking place as advertised you can Contact Us to check.

How much?

Membership of the club is currently £75 per year for adults, £100 for couples and £45 for under 24yr old’s. We have lighting equipment, a studio background, various projectors and screens, ring-flash, ColorMunki, TriggerSmart and other equipment available to our members.  Please Contact Us if you wish to borrow any of these.

Enjoy illustrated talks by guest speakers and accomplished photographers about a variety of topics throughout the year to be inspired or learn something new.

A number of speakers over the year will cover a multitude of subjects ranging from “How to” sessions through to inspirational talks about their experiences or activities within photography.

Get some fresh air! Walks are organised over the summer months predominantly for members to bring their camera and shoot varying subjects.

ENJOY THE OUTSIDE

A number of walks are organised throughout the year both within the club and externally.  These cover a number of different topics giving you the opportunity to enjoy shooting in a supportive and sociable environment.
