Well, 2022 has nearly passed, and hopefully we’re all ready for 2023, where we can all start over again. A welcome distraction to all that has been happening in the world recently has been entering images into the club’s internal competitions. So, the big question – who has excelled and reached the top this year? We’ve had some fantastic images this year. Congratulations to every member who competed in this year’s Club competitions, but, at the end of the day there must be winners, and unfortunately losers too. So without further ado, here are our Competition Winners for 2022…
Photographer of the Year Competition Winners
Our main club contest is ‘The Photographer of the Year’, (P.O.T.Y.), which comprises of 8 rounds. Each member can enter three images in each round, of which one image is a pre-defined SET subject and the other two images are classed as OPEN. The P.O.T.Y. trophy is awarded to the member with the highest combined score for all of these rounds. In addition, there are a number of sub-categories within this competition which are also detailed below:

Print Competition Winners
This year our ‘Print Photographer of the Year’ competition was comprised of 2 rounds. Each member was able to enter four images in each round, of which two images were a pre-defined SET subject and the other two images were classed as OPEN. The Print Photographer of the Year trophy is awarded to the member with the highest combined score for all of these rounds.
