This month we had Round 6 of the Photographer Of The Year (P.O.T.Y.) Competition, with the chosen topic being ‘Food’. As we progress towards the end of the Club’s programme for the year, this would become a turning point…! There were some excellent efforts by members to be creative with food this month, and demonstrate their photography skills.

Congratulations to Nick Biswell, Joanne Thomson and Roger Goddard for achieving top marks in the SET topic. These images demonstrated some real creativity and thought behind them. In addition, congratulations go to Adrian Court for achieving the top overall score in the evening, with some very strong images. Another notable mention is one of our new members, Brian Hubbard, who achieved the second highest score of the evening. His images were creative, well executed and scored strongly by the judge. This was an interesting evening, seeing a wide range of scores and not all of the usual suspects doing well! This has thrown the overall competition wide open and everything to play for in the final two rounds. It looks like we are going to have an exciting end to the season!

If you haven’t registered yet, it is really easy! To register as a new Member just click on the “Sign In” button on the website. This takes you to a new screen, click on the blue “Register” Button. Just enter a username you want to use (no spaces), your name and a password you want to use. Then click on the blue “Register” button. And the rest is automatic.
Signing In When You Have Been Approved
You will get an email confirmation when you have been approved as a New Member. After you receive this just go back to the “Sign In” button, click it, add in the details that you registered with, and you have full access to the “Members Area” of the website!
