Being versatile is what it is all about with Buckingham Camera Club’s Versatility Challenge Competition, with the winner being awarded a financial prize.  This is more of a fun competition, at the end of the Summer season before we restart the Photographer of the Year Competition in September.

This year’s Versatility Challenge titles were decided by last year’s winner, Nick Biswell, and were – It’s a Wrap (food), It’s a Funny Old Game (sport), It’s a Cracker (humour), It’s a Small World (something small interacting with something normal sized) and It’s a Hard Knock Life (children). The challenge is finding an image from your existing stock that represents each of these titles, as closely as possible. No new images are allowed to be used.

After all of the entries scores were added up the winner was announced as Roger Goddard, who finished a good 8 points in front of the rest of the competition.  Roger will now need to start thinking up the subjects for next year’s competition for us all.
