Being versatile is what it is all about with Buckingham Camera Club’s Versatility Challenge Competition, with the winner being awarded a financial prize. This is considered more of a fun competition, and took place at the end of the Summer season on the 27th September.
This year’s Versatility Challenge titles were decided by last year’s winner, Roger Goddard, and were – Minimalist Elegance, Urban Rhythms, Nature’s Wonders, Portraits of Resilience and Abstract Expressions. The challenge is finding an image from your existing stock that represents each of these titles, as closely as possible. No new images are allowed to be used.
After all of the entries scores were added up the winner was announced as Tom Knowles, who finished just 2 points in front of the next closest competitor. Tom will now need to start thinking up the subjects for next year’s competition for us all.
