Last Wednesday, the final Round of Buckingham Camera Club’s POTY (Photographer of the Year) took place. The final subject this year was “Chain or Belt Driven” and was judged by Damon Guy via Zoom.

Damon started the evening by judging the OPEN entries. Here he awarded three 20s – ‘Aboretum Abstract’ by Joanne Thompson, ‘Amber’ by Peter Silver and ‘Indian Black Kite’ by Nick Steadman – and three 19s = ‘Fire Wall’ again by Nick Steadman, ‘Waiting’ again by Peter Silver and ‘The Boathouse’ by John Credland.

In the SET subject, ‘Oxford Cyclist’ by Paul Raynor and ‘Love Me Love My Bike’ by Brian Hubbard, both scored 20. ‘Driven To Sell Chain Jewellery’ by Mike Kirby, which was one of only a handful of shots not bicycle related, scored 19.
