In preparation for Tom’s London Photowalk on 20th January, both Tom and Adrian ventured into London separately for two very different shoots and a chance to check out some of the locations that will be visited during the Photowalk.
Adrian ventured in early, but rather than shooting the architecture around the City of London, he met up with Jade Lyon. Jade is a model, based in Brighton, who he met previously at an Open Day last year and wanted to shoot again. The aim of Adrian’s trip was Natural Light shooting starting at Liverpool Street and then working through to Broadgate. After shooting the BIG 5 at Broadgate, it was down to the Lloyds of London building. Unfortunately, this area turned out to have little opportunities to shoot with a model. So it was on to Leadenhall Market for the final shoot of the day. This is a fascinating area…even more so at the weekend when even the Pizza Express is closed!

Tom, on the other hand, started at More London, near City Hall. He then went across Tower Bridge scouting out the route that will be walked on the Photowalk on the 20th. While Adrian had no luck at Lloyds of London, Tom, on the other hand, came up trumps. He found some great places to shoot both in daylight and the evening hours. The walk looks like it is going to be an interesting day for all. Some great images should be found if the weather cooperates. The long-range forecast looks promising!
