Last night we hosted the Bedfordshire Invitation Inter-Club Competiton at the Buckingham Community Centre. It is an annual competition, open to clubs throughout Bedfordshire and neighbouring areas. With such a wide geographical spread we were expecting some tough competition. As the competition is Open Subject we had a wide selection of images for Chris Forster EFIAP FBPE to judge.
A Blueberry Saves The Day
As the competition progressed it became a very open race with Biggleswade & District CC leading by halftime. Although they were closely followed by Harpenden PS and Shillington & District CC one point adrift. As we came back refreshed from the tea break it was all to play for with two rounds remaining. Eventually, the competition went down to a Tie Break where an image of a ‘Spoonful of Blueberries’ clinched the competition!
