Last Wednesday (13th October 2021) was the 1st Round of the CACC Rosebowl 2021/22 Competition. This round sets the foundation for this year’s Rosebowl competition.
CACC Rosebowl
The CACC Rosebowl Competition is an annual Projected Digital Image (PDI) inter-club competition with an ‘Open’ subject. The competition is run over a number of rounds that takes place throughout the year. Thirty-two clubs that are associated with the Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs (CACC) compete against each other. Entry is at a Club Level, and our entries were selected from a pool of our club images.
What Happened
This year we hosted the 1st Round on Zoom. The judge was Colin Southgate. In this round, we were drawn against Harrow CC, Watford CC and Windsor PS. The competition was recorded and can be found here
Unfortunately, we came last by 1 point.
The final scores were:
Watford CC – 276 points
Windsor PS – 262 points
Harrow CC – 254 points
Buckingham CC – 253 points
Our top scoring images on the night were : Otter At Lunch by Mike Kirby and A Head Of Lines by Colin Bright which scored 20 and 19 respectively.
