The Print Competition was the focus last week with the second, and final round for the year. To judge the evening we had Peter Greenway CPAGB LRPS.
Print Competition Results
There was a wide array of prints with varying subjects for Peter to judge for the evening. In the end, there could be only one winner for the evening. So, for this round, it was John Credland scoring a total of 56 points out of a total of 60. John scored a 20 and 19 to help him achieve his winning score. In addition, congratulations have to go to him and the others that achieved top marks for their entries. Top marks were awarded to John, Mike Kirby, and Peter Silver. Their top-scoring images are shown below:

Critique Introduction
Tom Knowles introduced the idea behind the Critique Evening that will be run on the 23rd of October to attendees. This is where we will have the chance to receive a friendly and positive critique of some of your work. Also, it will help you understand areas that are strong within your images, which is reassuring. Furthermore, there will be an opportunity to understand what may be done to make them even better. It will be fun, relaxed and rewarding, whether you are providing a mini critique, or you are receiving one. so, we won’t be scoring photos, nor will we be comparing them to any others that are critiqued. To help you, Tom has prepared critique template cards to guide anyone that would like to structure their comments.
Submitting Images for a Critique
Finally, to take part all you have to do is to submit up to three images using the Critique Submission Form. One last point, this is only open to Club Members.
