The Theatre District of Milton Keynes was the location for our Practical Evening last week. Twenty-one members made the trip to Central Milton Keynes for the evening. With “Places’ being SET subject for the next POTY competition members were focussed on capturing an image they could use. This area has several benefits as there are a number of different areas to photograph, all within an easy walk.
A Multitude of Different Subjects
During the two hour walk, we covered a multitude of different subjects. Car trails on Marlborough Street from the bridge, the new multi-storey car park, the underpasses, the
Gallery and the Theatre itself. So there was plenty of opportunities for capturing an image. It was great to see members using their creativity, with cameras pointing at all sorts of different angles. Zoom lenses to fisheye, from architectural to moody blurred busses and people around underpasses made for a varied and fun evening.
Hopefully, everybody got some good images out of the evening!
